A Coded Message: You'll get this from Quasim at the end of the first mission, Nowhere to Run - if you don't throw him over the edge. It’s a pretty cool little puzzle to solve and a fun way to break up the campaign. There are three pieces of evidence to find that will help you decrypt the Cold War floppy disc, scattered throughout three different missions. You can start this mission, take out Aldrich and you’ll get that detail in the ending summary after the events of the main game wrap up. Now simply go and select the option to decrypt the floppy disc and enter your code and passphrase (4299 / Baltimore for me, it will vary) and voila! You’re done. Whatever city you come up with is your passphrase. Now we have 4234 and can go back to the Numbers Station List where we find that number corresponds to the city Baltimore. The answer is “34” which is two digits lower than 36, and one digit higher than 33. 43 is four digits higher than 39 39 is three digits higher than 36. This is a bit trickier since there isn’t a simple difference between each one. Each number is five digits apart, so the answer here is “42.” Jot it down. You need to solve for the missing number. Start with red.Īs you can see, my red numbers are 27 / 32 / 37 / ? / 47. Yours will very likely look different than this, however, so you’ll need to solve it based on the numbers you see. Ignore all the symbols and focus on the numbers here. Coded Message Credit: Treyarch / Screenshot: Erik Kain
